Gifted and Talented
Gifted and Talented Program Overview
The Port Republic School District’s Gifted and Talented Program is designed to support students who demonstrate advanced abilities in one or more academic areas. In accordance with New Jersey regulations, the district provides opportunities for students in grades K–8 to explore their strengths, develop their abilities, and engage in meaningful learning experiences. Identification is based on multiple measures, including assessment results, classroom performance, student work, and recommendations from teachers and parents.
For additional information, please refer to Port Republic School's current G&T policy, identification procedures, and services available, along with other NJ state resources. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Gifted and Talented Program, including identification criteria, the selection process, curriculum, or your child’s placement, please contact Mrs. Amanda Redrow.
